Logan Zarin finishes fifth in Steve Kent Memorial at Outlaw

Logan Zarin's pursuit for the Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series (ULMS) title continued on Friday with a visit to Outlaw Speedway (Dundee, N.Y.) for the Steve Kent Memorial.

Lined up fourth for the opener via a third-place finish in his heat race, Zarin surrendered one spot in the 40-lap feature to register a fifth-place finish. He trailed Dylan Yoder, Dylan Cecce, Seth Zacharias, and Andrew Yoder to the checkers.

At Hummingbird Speedway (Reynoldsville, Pa.) on Saturday, Logan got off to a slow start early in the evening but was able to rally with a top-10 finish in the feature. Racing into the $5,000-to-win finale with a fifth-place finish in his heat, Zarin climbed six positions in the 30-lapper to place ninth.

Logan remains in third in the latest ULMS point standings.
