Zarin notches podium finish with ULMS at Tri-City Raceway Park

A tripleheader weekend with the Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series (ULMS) kicked off for Logan Zarin with Friday’s Willie and Conda McConnell Memorial at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.).

After a sixth-to-second heat showing placed him on the pole for the opener, Logan retired on the second circuit of the 30-lapper.

For the Topless 50 at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, W.Va.), Zarin outran pole-starting Tyler Carpenter in his heat to pick up the eight-lap victory. Gunning for a $5,000 payday in the 50-lap feature, Logan posted a seventh-place finish.

Logan’s ULMS weekend concluded with a third-place finish in the $5,000-to-win finale on Sunday at Tri-City Raceway Park (Franklin, Pa.). He joined race-winner Max Blair and Jared Miley on the podium.

Logan remains in second in the latest ULMS point standings.
