Logan Zarin scores second-place finish at Muskingum

After Mother Nature washed out the Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series (ULMS) doubleheader in West Virginia, Logan Zarin shifted his focus to Muskingum County Speedway in Dresden, Ohio, where he kicked off his weekend on Saturday.

With 16 Late Models on hand for the track’s season opener, Zarin started strong with a third-place finish in his heat race. He then impressed in the 25-lap feature, charging from sixth to second and finishing just behind race-winner Clint Keenan. Caiden Black completed the podium.

Zarin wrapped up the weekend on Sunday at Port Royal Speedway for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned Battle in the Borough. Despite a determined effort, his bid to qualify for the $10,000-to-win A-Main came up short, as he finished sixth in his consolation race.
