Logan Zarin bags pair of runner-up finishes at Tyler County and Eriez

Losing the holiday weekend opener at Lernverville, Logan Zarin unloaded his Valvoline No. 1Z at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, W.Va.) for the $5,080-to-win Earl Hill Memorial Topless 50.

With 17 ULMS entries on site, Zarin qualfied sixth-fastest in his group before finishing fourth in a heat race. Logan started eighth in the 50-lap main event and stormed forward to run second to Ryan Montgomery.

Headed to Eriez Speedway (Erie, Pa.) on Sunday evening, Zarin finished third in his heat race and earned the 11th-starting position in the $7,676 Andy Kania Memorial. Logan once again charged forward through the field and came up one spot short, finishing runner-up to Max Blair.
