Jackson 100 weekend brings Zarin to Brownstown
Logan Zarin was among 47 drivers entered with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Brownstown Speedway over the weekend, as some of the nation’s top talent converged on the Indiana quarter-mile for a doubleheader.
The action began Friday with the C.J. Rayburn Memorial, launching the 47th annual Jackson 100 weekend. After a slow start in time trials, Zarin rebounded in his heat race, advancing four positions to finish fifth. He came up just short of a transfer spot in the B-Main, finishing fifth—two spots shy of a feature apperance.
On Saturday, Zarin’s hopes of qualifying for the $50,000-to-win Jackson 100 ended in the consolation race, where he finished eighth.
